Plus, there are ways to increase that discount as well as earn volume rebates and commissions, but let's just stick with the 20% discount for now.
This all sounds great! So what's the catch?
There is NO catch! You can buy the Starter Kit and receive a discount for at least 4 months. In order to remain an active demonstrator and continue your discount, Stampin' Up! requires a $300 minimum each calendar quarter. This can be your personal purchases or sales to friends and family.
Don't worry, though, when you first join, you get a FULL quarter to meet this minimum. If you start part-way through a calendar quarter, your quarter won't start until the following quarter--giving you more time to meet the minimum.
What happens if I don't meet the quarterly minimum?
No worries! Stampin' Up! gives you one more month to reach it. This is called a "pending month". If you still don't meet the minimum after this time, I promise the Stampin' Up! police won't come after you. Nor will you receive a bill for the difference. All that will happen is you lose the discount and become a customer again. However, I think you will enjoy all the benefits so much that you won't want to let that happen.
Should you decide you would like to hold a class or event, it is a great way to make some extra money or at least pay for your own purchases and meet the quarterly minimum. No matter your goal, I'm here to cheer you on and support you!
Absolutely! You would sign up and pay the fee like usual. For events with a "free with purchase" option, I recommend you just either pay the class fee or order the minimum amount then place your larger orders on your demonstrator account so you can get your discount.
Ok, this sounds pretty good. What happens if I join and later decide it is just not for me anymore?
While we think you will enjoy the benefits of being a demonstrator, should you find it's not for you, neither Stampin' Up! or I will hound you. No hurt feelings. We are just glad you gave it a go and hope you will continue enjoying the Stampin' Up! products as a customer.
