Simply Sweet Stamping: Trimming the Town Gift Bag

I love giving gifts to my family and friends in packaging I hand made. Stampin' Up! has the prettiest selections of Designer Series Papers (DSP) that coordinate perfectly for beautiful gift giving.

This week I'm using some of my 12"x12" Trimming the Town DSP to make a tall gift bag that measures 3-3/4" wide x 2" deep x 10" tall. These quick and easy gift bags are a great way to use up that pretty paper in your crafting stash!

This holiday season, I've have had a blast playing with the Trimming the Town DSP by just die-cutting the shapes from the paper for some quick and easy crafting.

I used one of the large Celebration Labels dies for my bag flap and as a nice backdrop for the die-cut house and trees. To tie the bag closed, I used some All the Trimmings Ribbon in Old Olive.

Both the Celebration Labels dies and All the Trimmings Ribbon are currently on sale 50% off. The die set is a must have for making tag toppers, bag flaps, card layers/inserts, and even treat holders. Check out the Facebook Live I did back in October with the Witches' Cauldron using these dies!

The design can easily be adapted for different height gift bags by cutting down the template height.
