Petal Promenade DSP

This weekend I'm working on sample projects for my April card class. I must admit bold and photo prints intimidate me...I'm still learning how to work with them and not overpower the card, so I tend to avoid this kind of paper.

However, since I received the Petal Promenade and Delightfully Detailed DSP as free Sale-a-Bration items, I challenged myself to use this paper. I'm very pleased with my initial results. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

To create the lace ribbon band, I cut one of the strips of Delightfully Detailed Specialty Paper in half and adhered it to a background strip of Pear Pizzazz cardstock.

The flowers were created using the Four-Petal Flower punch in alternating Flirty Flamingo and Calypso Coral cardstock, 1/2" Circle punch in Very Vanilla cardstock, and small die cut flowers from the Detailed Deer thinlets (currently on carryover from the 2018 Holiday catalog)) in Pear Pizzazz cardstock.

Here is an alternate card using many of the same design elements...
